We always give away our power to others. We diminish our own accomplishments to make others look better. We sacrifice our own well-being to please others. For some reason, we think that everyone else is better than us, they know the ‘right’ way, and that we’re not good enough. Where has this false perception come from?
We are all powerful in our own right. We create our lives on a daily basis and are responsible for all of the positives that we experience. It’s important to honour that.
Everyone feels the same way; that the power lies in some external thing. That we need to go get something in order to be strong. Remind yourself of how powerful you are. Make a list of all the accomplishments in life that you are directly responsible for, and honour them.
You did that. You created that. You are powerful.
